Varhaga Vandrarhem offers a charming retreat for those seeking a peaceful escape in nature. The 80-year-old wooden hostel boasts clean rooms with great views and all the necessary amenities. My family and I, accompanied by our dog, enjoyed a lovely stay, taking full advantage of the beautiful lake just 20 meters from the veranda. Swimming in the lake was a highlight, and we look forward to renting a canoe on our next visit. The peaceful ambiance, friendly staff, and recent refurbishments added to our positive experience. The shared kitchen was a convenient feature, although the limited shower facilities could be a concern during busier times.For those seeking a budget-friendly stay without compromising on the beauty of nature, Varhaga Vandrarhem is a solid choice. The simplicity and tranquility of this place make it a hidden gem for those looking to unwind and connect with the outdoors.
